Exercise 1

It is time to do some calculations yourself, using the application inputs you created in the Step-by-step section. For both the cores with and without rigs inserted, run your inputs on your local machine with 4 threads, 64 000 particles, 20 inactive cycles and 100 active cycles. These parameters can be specified in the terminal line as options to the execute command:

>>> oscar5 MINI_CORE.projects.base --particles 64000 --source-iteration 20 --max-iteration 100 execute --threads 4

This will not produce very accurate results, but they will be sufficient for our analysis. After the calculation has finished, use post target mode to extract results.
